Rest Yuh Head!!!

If you are going to any country, it is critical to find somewhere to stay during your trip. As a foreigner or even a local who wants to enjoy a little 'staycation', well I have some places that would be ideal for you guys. If you are looking to stay around the Port-of-Spain area or environs (The Capital), then there are some really good options that you can choose from. From the many hotels around that area, I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency.Hilton and the Courtyard by Marriott, but if you are looking for a more relaxing type of getaway, but you still want to be able to have things readily available to you, then I would recommend the Normandie hotel. However, if you are on an extended stay in the country then I would suggest that you rent an apartment, as this may be more cost effective.

The Courtyard by Marriott
This hotel is one that is cozy, lovely and has some very friendly and helpful staff. Let me just tell you that this place is great for any occasion from girls weekend getaway to a wonderful vacation. What makes this hotel even more interesting is that it is located near to Movie Towne, which is basically a mall with lots of really nice restaurants, shopping, a cinema and also rides and games for the little ones. Now for my Trinbagonian friends, you are probably thinking well this is so expensive, well here you can get the local rate which is much cheaper as it is an international hotel, plus you get free breakfast for 2 each day. Guys, I went and I didn't want to leave so trust me, it was just awesome!!
Courtyard by Marriott

The Hyatt Regency
This hotel is literally a short walk away from the heart of Port-of-Spain, where you can experience an assortment of foods and drinks, shop, or simply take in the environment. This hotel is considered a luxury hotel and from the pictures,  you will see why. It is on the waterfront and the view from the top of the building is to die for, because you can enjoy seeing ships come in and out or just lounge by the infinity pool all day. But this place is truly beautiful, a little pricey in TTD, but its worth the money!Hyatt Regency Trinidad

The Normandie Hotel
This hotel gives a more homey type of vibe that is nestled away in an area where noise is not an issue. This hotel is inexpensive by the ambiance is still quite great and very quiet for those who just need time away from it all. Normandie

All in all, in Trinidad and Tobago, there are many wonderful places to stay at, but these are the ones that can cater to all types of budgets. However, Trip Advisor also has some great suggestions, and they can be consulted when choosing a place to rest yuh head!!. But ladies and gentlemen, that is all for now, so until next time, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!

Lovely Panama

This destination is seen as one of the must-visit countries, known mainly for its fantastic shopping, the Panama Canal and just a wonderful destination to enjoy and discover its history. In the upcoming posts, I will detail all of the adventures that await you in Panama, but for today, we will just begin with the places to stay, as this is of key importance to those like myself who just love to shop, or just plainly love to be close to everything.
When I went to Panama, I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, and this was a very good choice for me, simply because they offered benefits such as:
-Free continental buffet breakfast
-Close Proximity to Albrook Mall (Trust me you would want to stick around for this post!!)
-They are quite reasonable with their prices, whilst still being a lovely place to stay with a great view of the harbor behind.

                                                          Country Inn and Suites

However, if you are the type that prefers to stay in a more affluent area, then the Tryp by Wyndham is a better option for you. This hotel is located within Albrook Mall, so much so that you can take an elevator and be directly in the mall. This hotel is said to be quite nice and the people are very friendly. This mall is extremely huge so one has the ability to go and explore on their own whilst there or they can venture out into town and make their own memories and experiences. But ladies and gentlemen, that's all I have for now so until next time when I speak about the Embera Village, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!

Beautiful Curacao

Good Afternoon all you wonderful people. This blog is a part of my MBA in General Management, however, this is going to be quite exciting and fun, as I will be reviewing many Caribbean Destinations and all of the awesome activities that they have to offer. With that being said, let's jump right into it. The first country I will be reviewing would be the lovely Curacao.

Curacao is a small Caribbean Island, belonging to a part of the ABC islands (Aruba and Bonaire). This island is known mostly for its beautiful beaches, duty-free shopping and lovely sights to see. In Curacao, Dutch is the main language, however, Papiamentu is the most common one to the island, but fear not as many locals speak Spanish and English. The currency used on the island can be either in USD (United States Dollars) or ANG (Netherlands Antillean Guilder), which I know is of critical importance to those of you planning to go shopping. But, ladies and gentlemen, we shall delve further into the adventures of Curacao in later posts, so until then, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!!
