Nylon Pool Tobago
The Nylon Pool in Tobago is a must visit place if you are ever there. This trip is one that will help you see the beautiful coral reefs that take years to form in our lovely sister isle. To get to Nylon pool, one can either get on a glass bottom boat from Store Bay or Pigeon Point Beach, and you don't even have to search for the booth to book your tours because as you get to the beaches, hustlers they will approach you with much enthusiasm. However, they try to give you prices that are based on how you look or your accent, but a good way to get good prices is to either state that you are going with another person, or present a counter price and bargain your way to a better deal.
The nylon pool has been a protected marine park since the year 1973 and the trip is suitable for all ages. There you are able to see about 40 different species of Coral at the Coral garden, which is a natural feeding ground for tropical fishes that are brilliantly coloured. Upon reaching to the pool, you are able to get out of the boat and swim or walk around in the metre deep water which so happens to be in the middle of the ocean, but it really is a beautiful sight of paradise to just let all your worries and troubles go away.
But ladies and gents I am sorry to inform you that this would be the last post for some time, but I do want to thank you for your support and assistance in making this blog what it has become so once again, until next time, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome :) !!!!!
Night Life in Trinidad
So if you are like me, I am one who truly loves their country and all that it has to offer. In Trinidad, there are endless things to do and see at night. There are things like visiting the Look Out on the Lady Young, going to Queen's Park Savannah (the largest roundabout in the world!) to enjoy an array of foods from gyro to soups of all kinds, coconut water and snowcone. But these activities are enjoyed best when in the company of good friends where you can have a good time and just laugh whilst enjoying the views.
However, if you are looking for a calmer evening then I would suggest you arrange a girls night out and just enjoy each others company. You can go to dinner at various places, but if you are looking to partake in some scrumptious foods and a really nice experience then places like The Town, Chaud, and Aioli is for you. My preference is always The Town because of its lovely setting and food that is always good and pleasant staff who would do anything to make sure that their customers are happy.
So once you've had dinner and you and your girls or guys are still not in the mood to go home, then Ariapita Avenue is the place to go. Here you can find everything from clubs and restaurants, with everything else in-between. This area really comes to life around 11pm and doesn't stop until about 4am each and every weekend, whether rain or holiday, people ALWAYS there!! So if you are up for an adventure then I suggest you grab you crew and head over for a night on the town. But until next time, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!!

Rest Yuh Head!!!
If you are going to any country, it is critical to find somewhere to stay during your trip. As a foreigner or even a local who wants to enjoy a little 'staycation', well I have some places that would be ideal for you guys. If you are looking to stay around the Port-of-Spain area or environs (The Capital), then there are some really good options that you can choose from. From the many hotels around that area, I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency.Hilton and the Courtyard by Marriott, but if you are looking for a more relaxing type of getaway, but you still want to be able to have things readily available to you, then I would recommend the Normandie hotel. However, if you are on an extended stay in the country then I would suggest that you rent an apartment, as this may be more cost effective.
The Courtyard by Marriott
This hotel is one that is cozy, lovely and has some very friendly and helpful staff. Let me just tell you that this place is great for any occasion from girls weekend getaway to a wonderful vacation. What makes this hotel even more interesting is that it is located near to Movie Towne, which is basically a mall with lots of really nice restaurants, shopping, a cinema and also rides and games for the little ones. Now for my Trinbagonian friends, you are probably thinking well this is so expensive, well here you can get the local rate which is much cheaper as it is an international hotel, plus you get free breakfast for 2 each day. Guys, I went and I didn't want to leave so trust me, it was just awesome!!Courtyard by Marriott

The Hyatt Regency
This hotel is literally a short walk away from the heart of Port-of-Spain, where you can experience an assortment of foods and drinks, shop, or simply take in the environment. This hotel is considered a luxury hotel and from the pictures, you will see why. It is on the waterfront and the view from the top of the building is to die for, because you can enjoy seeing ships come in and out or just lounge by the infinity pool all day. But this place is truly beautiful, a little pricey in TTD, but its worth the money!Hyatt Regency Trinidad

The Normandie Hotel
This hotel gives a more homey type of vibe that is nestled away in an area where noise is not an issue. This hotel is inexpensive by the ambiance is still quite great and very quiet for those who just need time away from it all. Normandie
All in all, in Trinidad and Tobago, there are many wonderful places to stay at, but these are the ones that can cater to all types of budgets. However, Trip Advisor also has some great suggestions, and they can be consulted when choosing a place to rest yuh head!!. But ladies and gentlemen, that is all for now, so until next time, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!

Maracas and Las Cuevas Bay
So you bought your ticket and hopped on a flight and came straight down to this sweet sweet island for a vacation to have the time of your life. You landed in Piarco, collected your luggage and headed to your hotel and you get there but now you are uncertain of what to do, well no worries, this 'Trini' will help you to navigate and make your way through this country. A must see location is Maracas or Las Cuevas Bay for some fun in the sun and a little relaxation. Let me tell you, the food from Richard's is amazing and you must try the bake and shark or bake and kingfish as they like no other!!!!
Aside from this, the atmosphere and liveliness of the beach and the surroundings would have you thinking about wanting to move to this country permanently, and if you are from Trinidad and Tobago then you know what I am talking about. Be it a public holiday or a weekend, the 'vibes' at these beaches will never end. Here you can hear endless Soca songs that would have you 'wining' down to the ground and although Carnival has ended, in the words of MX Prime, you would be 'jamming still'.
Here you can see the mouth watering food that you can get on the beach. Once you've gotten your food, you can head over to the beach where you can engage in a game of either, football, netball, or even cricket with the locals who would gladly incorporate you into their fun. But all in all, brace yourself for a grand time and just know that that the sleep on the way back from the beach, is like no other. But until next time keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!!!!!
