Tip #5: Keeping Your Boarding Pass
If you are someone who usually throws away their boarding pass, then I suggest that you abandon this practice, this is said because it is proof of travel to this new country as well as a way to document the proper credit for frequent flier miles, but it is also essential if one is self-employed or in relation to tax purposes.
Tip #6: Contact Your Bank
It is usually a good practice to visit or call your bank and let them know of your plans to travel and where you are going so that your ATM card can be utilized there. This can be done so that any fraudulent charges made to the said card can be blocked.
Tip #7: The Six Month Rule for Passports
The expiration date on one's passport allows for travel until such a time, however, the only country that permits travel up until the date inside is the United States but several other countries will deny entry if the passport expires in less than six months. Reason being, if a person is stuck in another country for longer than intended, the country wants to know that you will eventually go back to your native country.
Tip #8: Check foreign documents requirements
In certain countries like Kenya, India, and Chile, they all require a visa for entry. However, in places like South Africa, they will deny a visitor if he/she does not have a passport that contains at least two blank unstamped pages, thus it is imperative that such things are known before traveling. One can see a complete list of regulations here.

Travel Tips #2
When going on vacation we are always looking for ways to make traveling much better, so what can assist you more than some travel tips. In the previous travel post, we already discussed some tips so we would just pick up from where we left off, so lets go!
Tip#3:Emergency Kit
Sometimes life can be very unpredictable and can hit you some curve balls at some really unexpected times, but it is better to over prepare than not to all. With that being said, it is best that you put in your carry on some panadol, gravol, bandages, tums, cough drops or other items that you think you would need personally in such an event. Most pharmacies carry small emergency/first aid kits and it may not be such a bad idea to invest in one just to cover your bases.
Tip #4:Emergency Money
In the event that you find yourself in a quandary, you will at least have some cash at hand to get to where you need to be or at least call someone and let them know about what has happened to you. Money can be kept in a old chap-stick tin and placed in your carry on, or your shoes or a secret pocket in your jacket, but wherever you put it is up to you, but this method allows you greater flexibility in difficult situations whilst travelling.
But that's all for now so until next time keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!

Travel Tips #1
So, you bought your ticket and you are waiting on that sweet blessed day when you can just leave everything behind and just enjoy yourself, I know, I enjoy those days too!! However, each week I'll give you some travel tips to assist you in your endeavors in making this trip easier on you and especially your pocket.
Tip #1:Invest in quality Equipment
So I know that most of us are always ready for a steal of a deal especially when it comes to luggage, however,it may be best to invest in one that would last give or take 10 years, rather than having to purchase one each year.#spend now and save later!!
Tip #2:Travel Light
Often times when people travel, they tend to feel the need to take their entire house and belongings with them, STOP IT!!!Listen up, you only need a few items of clothing when travelling. A great thing that I have learnt whilst travelling,is to pack all of your items all rolled up into your carry on, then place the carry on in your larger suitcase to save on space as well as to enable you to shop more and return with more.
But Ladies and Gentlemen that's all that will be shared for now, so until next time, keep cool, stay safe and be awesome!!!
